1923 #1 Chair from Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles

#1 Chair from the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. It has been in my family since the 70’s. It was given to my father by the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles (My father worked for the hotel) during their remodel in the 70’s. I would love to keep it, but I just don’t have the room. The chair is gold plated, never been touched by me or my family as far as restoration goes. My father told me the Biltmore had it gold plated some time before he started working there. The chair had been part of the hotel since it’s opening in 1923. The hotel held 8 Academy awards shows. I was also told by my father that John F. Kennedy had his hair cut in it during the Democratic convention.I have included a picture of the Biltmore Hotel Barber Shop, the chair is the first one on the right, just out of frame. Make me an offer, this chair deserves a good home.
